John Remesz, father of Natasha, one of our young, up and coming speedsters, won the award for the Okanagan's Volunteer of the Year Award at BC Alpine's AGM for 2006-2007.
John made a huge contribution throughout our zone, dedicating himself not only to Big White events but also Apex, BC Special Olympics and at other mountains.
