Big White Racers at Mt. Baldy 2007/01/30

Saturday January 27th, 2007 Mt. Baldy and Borderline Ski Club hosted an Alcan Nancy Greene E1 & E2 Ski Race. The conditions couldn’t have been better – with the panoramic blue sky and bright sun keeping the cool morning just right. The E1 and E2 had separate dedicated race courses – with groomed fast conditions. The afternoon provided awesome conditions for family skiing - goggle tan-lines on a few skiers were sighted afterwards. Thanks again to the Borderline Ski Club and Mt. Baldy for the event – and the numerous draw prizes at the awards ceremony. Kelowna Ski Club / Big White Racers had 29 E1 and 29 E2 kids attend. There was a total of 62 E1 and 59 E2 kids attending the race representing Mt. Baldy Ski Hill, Phoenix Mountain, Crystal Mountain, Apex Alpine, and Big White Ski Hill.
