Special Olympics at Crystal Mountain 2007/02/19

Reports are in that we put on the very best alpine event any of the athletes or coaches have ever participated in. We saw smiles everywhere we looked (from coaches, to athletes, to volunteers). And of course the sunshine didn’t hurt! Our thanks also go out to the Crystal Mtn Alcan/Nancy Greene league for use of their club cabin as race office and volunteer central. And last but not least is Crystal Mountain Resort. It was such a pleasure to work with such a cooperative organization. Special accolades go to Mike and Genie. They really bent over backwards to accommodate these games and our needs. You have truly made a difference in someone’s life.
