Top skiers from the Big White Racers represent the Okanagan Zone Alpine Ski Team at the BC Winter Games.

BWR will be well represented at the BC Winter Games as our top K1 racers aged 11-12 have qualified after impressive finishes at Apex slalom and Sun Peaks GS races. Congratulation goes to Zane Torres ranking 1st and Brooke Lukinuk 2nd overall for the zone.  Traveling with them are qualifying teammates Gillian Callaghan, Hannah Walline, Quinn Rasmussen and Marcus Athans.  Alternates are Emily Pilon and RJ Lukinuk.  Hard work on less than perfect conditions this year has been key for many and all the kids are extremely excited to be representing the zone and their home club Big White Racers.  Congratulations to all the K1 kids.  BC Winter Games will be held in Vernon on Feb 24-26 with the alpine events held at Silver Star Mtn.

Same time same place this Saturday January 28th.

2.  If you have not received your raffle tickets Cathie Polasek will be there on Saturday for distribution

Saturday January 7th

NEW meeting area in effect for the next 10 weeks.  All NG groups, including acceleration teams, will meet in the main village ski school area, beside the plaza chair.  A welcome email will be sent to all families next week with team names and season information. You must have your bibs on for your lessons!
